Pass the SAFE Banking Act!

While 38 states have legalized cannabis programs, which generate billions in revenue each year and employ over 400,000 people, those in the industry are denied equal access to financial services, posing a serious risk to public safety and disproportionately impacting small and minority-owned businesses. 

The SAFE Banking Act would enhance public safety by providing cannabis businesses with access to the same banking services available to every other industry, helping them rely less on cash transactions which fuel robberies.

The SAFE Banking Act is bipartisan and enjoys support from over 60% of Americans. The bill would make our communities safer and provide a lifeline for thousands of small businesses. Now is the time for Congress to act.
